Course Objective
In the LRC-Reading Support class, students are taught a variety of reading and writing strategies; strategies such as SQ4R and CERC. The first 20-30 minutes of class is spent on these strategies and direct instruction toward individual goals/objectives as indicated on student's IEPs; the remainder of the class is spent on reviewing and reteaching material from general education classes. Support is constructed to meet individual needs and allow students to seek help on work they did not understand or for test review.
